App Battuta · ultimo aggiornamento: 16/10/2026

2. In breve

3. Quali dati trattiamo e perché

Se usi l’app senza account

Metronomo e accordatore funzionano senza registrarsi.

4. A chi affidiamo i dati (fornitori)

5. Per quanto tempo li teniamo

6. Come eliminare l’account o scaricare i dati

7. I tuoi diritti

Battuta app · last updated: 16 October 2026

This page explains what data the Battuta app (metronome, gig setlists and drum tuner) processes, why, for how long, and what your rights are. It is written under the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and the Italian Privacy Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003).

1. Who is the data controller

Manuela Campoli, sole proprietorship

VAT no. IT10536901001

Via Eraclito 9, 00041 Albano Laziale (RM), Italy

Privacy and support email: battuta.campoli@gmail.com

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), as it is not required for a business of this size: please send any request to the email above.

2. In short

3. What data we process and why

If you use the app without an account

The metronome and tuner work without signing up. In that case your settings stay only on your phone (local storage, “localStorage”) and never reach us. Our server only receives the ordinary technical requests needed to load the app (pages and files), which the web server records in its logs with date, time and IP address, for security and to run the service (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you choose to send us a problem report, we receive that too (see the table).

If you create an account

An account is needed for Gig and to find your setlists and settings on several phones (the subscription can also be purchased without an account). In that case we also process the data below. For in-app purchases, RevenueCat assigns the app an anonymous identifier even without an account.

DataPurposeLegal basis
UsernameIdentify your accountPerformance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
Email (required)Verify the account, reset your password, send service notices (not marketing)Performance of a contract
PasswordSign-in. Stored only as a salted hash: not even we can read itPerformance of a contract
Your content: setlists, setlist songs with tempo, time signature and notes, metronome settingsSync it to the server so you find it on every phonePerformance of a contract
Access log: date and time, outcome, IP address, browser user-agentSecurity: detect abusive sign-in attempts and protect your accountLegitimate interest in service security (Art. 6(1)(f))
Problem reports you choose to send us (menu → “Report a problem”), with the app’s technical context: screen, metronome settings, browser model. A report sent from the tuner (“Report a wrong reading”) also contains the numbers of that hit: the frequency read, the strength of the hit, the drum and the settings. No audioUnderstand and fix the problemYour request / performance of a contract
Technical session cookie (lasts 30 days, only if you sign in)Keep you signed in, even offline on stageStrictly necessary: no consent required
Local storage on your phone (localStorage)Save settings and content on the device so the app works offlineStrictly necessary

We do not use third-party, advertising or profiling cookies.

Microphone

The app asks for microphone permission only on the phone and only when you use the tuner or “detect tempo from music”. Sound is analysed in real time on your phone: it is not recorded, stored or sent to us or anyone else. You can revoke the permission at any time in your phone settings; the metronome and setlists keep working.

4. Service providers

We use a few providers that process data on our behalf, only to run the service:

Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play) process payments as independent controllers, under their own privacy policies: we only receive confirmation that the subscription is active.

Some providers (Google and RevenueCat) may process data outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. In that case the transfer relies on GDPR safeguards (the “EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework” adequacy decision for participating companies, or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses).

We do not sell or hand over your data to anyone. We disclose it to authorities only where required by law.

5. How long we keep it

6. How to delete your account or download your data

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

To exercise them, email battuta.campoli@gmail.com. We reply within one month, free of charge. We may ask you to write from your account email to make sure it is you.

8. Children

You must be at least 16 to create an account. In Italy, and in other countries where the law allows it, the minimum age is 14 (Art. 2-quinquies of the Italian Privacy Code, Legislative Decree 196/2003, which lowered the Art. 8 GDPR threshold to 14 for Italy).

Anyone under 18 may activate the Gig subscription only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Purchases are made with the Apple or Google account: we recommend that parents turn on parental controls and purchase approval (on iPhone, Family Sharing with “Ask to Buy”; on Android, Google Family Link).

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone below the minimum age. If a parent tells us that an account was created by a child below the minimum age, we close it and delete the data; if a parent tells us that a minor activated the subscription without their consent, we help them get a refund. Just email battuta.campoli@gmail.com.

9. Security

The connection to the server is encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are stored only as salted hashes, and server access is restricted and protected. No system is 100% secure: if a data breach affects you, we will notify you as required by law.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we update the date at the top; for significant changes we will notify you in the app or by email.
